On Thursday November 16th, the Irondequoit Fire District held its annual awards and swearing in ceremony. The first portion of the ceremony was the swearing in of five Firefighters, two Lieutenants and one Assistant Fire Chief. The second half of the ceremony was recognizing some of our members with various awards for going above and beyond their normal call of duty. Some of the awards our members received included “External recognition” “EMS Lifesaving” the “Fire Chiefs” and the “Medal of Valor”
