Please join us in congratulating Lieutenant Steve Sinaguglia on his retirement.

Steve joined the fire service in early 1992 as a volunteer firefighter with the Laurelton Fire Department. Over the years Steve assisted in many arears of the department including serving as Association president from 1998-2000 and Secretary for the last 20 years.

In June 1999 Steve was hired full time by the Laurelton Fire District where he spent the majority of his time serving as a firefighter before the districts staff started to grow and he was promoted to Lieutenant in January of 2020. Steve also held the position of EMS director from 2014-2022.

Steve is the first retirement from the new fire district but he won't be going far. With the continued growth in our organization Steve has been hired part time by the district to fill the roll of the Community Risk Reduction Specialist He will be coordinating things such as station tours, educational school visits, blood pressure clinics, smoke detector installations and car seat inspections/installations.

Thank you Steve for your many years of dedicated service and good luck in your new role!
