Earlier this week IFD welcomed five new recruit Firefighters to the career side of our organization. Three of the five are newly hired and two are transfers from area fire departments. Over the next three weeks, all five of these probationary firefighters will be working during the day with our training staff to work on basic firefighter skills to prep for the future as well as getting acclimated with the IFD organization. Congratulations to all!
