Today, 8/26/19 is probationary firefighter Mike Nicosia's first day on the job. Although today is Mike's first day, he is no stranger to RCFD. Mike joined Ridge Culver as a volunteer, in July of 2014, and remained active over the last five years. In that time Mike worked his was up to the rank of Lieutenant. Mike will be working days over the next few weeks before being assigned to Group One. After the first of the year, Mike will be heading to the fire academy where he will receive months of basic firefighter training. Congratulations Mike and welcome to the best job in the world.
